How Time Flies, it’s July!
Mid summer and plenty of things to enjoy.
As well as Gadding About, see inside for more information, there is the Clifton Montpelier Powis Festival from 3 - 19 July based at St Nicholas, Dyke Road and Saint Michael’s and All Angels in Victoria Road. The organisers have done an incredible job arranging a festival that includes 25 family, music and literary events. This month also sees the MCHA Association’s Summer Party in the early evening on July 11th. This is an informal event on the lawns of the girls’ school, an opportunity for people to gather and get to know their neighbours. There is a lot to celebrate this year, given MCHA’s success in their David and Goliath battle for the Alex. Go along, bring friends, listen to the music, chat, have some wine and canapés and say congratulations?? Tickets just £10, any excess proceeds the event generates will be added to their fund for the future…who knows what THAT may bring?
