Last bit of chilly Billy, we hope!
Quite a relief to see the green, green grass of home wasn’t it? Onwards and upwards.
February is the month of love and there is an exquisite concert of the most romantic pieces imaginable at Hove Town Hall by the SSO, on Valentine’s Eve. Tickets are a absolute snip: just £13, concs £10, students £5 - phone - 0870 900 9100. All funds raised are for the marvellous Martlets Hospice.
It is also the month to delve into matters scientific with Brighton Science Festival. Space did not allow us to list all the amazing events unfortunately…but look at the website and you’ll be fizzing with anticipation.
Despite February being the shortest month, it is also the month chosen for the Sussex Beacon Half Marathon… although no month would be long enough for me! The panting starts Sunday 21 February at 9.45am.
